It's been five long years since Trauma, the critically acclimed last solo album from the legendary DJ Quik. Although 2009 brought us BlaQKout, his experimental collaboration with Dogg Pound Gangsta Kurupt, fans worldwide are still yearning for the next proper solo from The Quiksta.

On that note, DUBCNN has a tantalizing treat for readers today. The following clip shows Quik in the studio previewing his next opus, titled The Book Of David. In the video you will hear some brief snippets of the Compton natives latest material. We also get a few exciting announcements from his cohort Kurupt, who confirms the Grand Wizard, Ice Cube, as just one of the guests that Quik has secured for his new LP.
